Excerpt Change

(Continuing campaign: Change)

There is nothing permanent in this world. Every thing changes except the law of change.

History is witness to all survived setbacks & defeats; to all joys & victories. All have passed away. If there are problems in the present, they too will pass away. If there were solutions in the past, they too have passed away. Because nothing remains forever. Things will change with the time.

We are witness of all this. We are the perceiver. Life comes and goes. Happiness comes and goes. Sorrows come and go.

This reminds me of one of my close friends who mentioned the golden words casually –
“This too will pass.”
May it be oil crisis, IT crisis, political/ economic crisis or quote latest topic of crisis in financial sector..!! Even the business statistics concepts are based on existence of cyclical waves. Thousands or at least hundreds of theories to back it up.

Think of the moments of joy and victory in your life. Think of the moment of Sorrow and defeat. Are they permanent? They all come and pass away. Life just passes away.

There were friends in past. They all have gone.
There are friends today. They too will go.
There will be new friends tomorrow. They too will go.

There were enemies in past. They have gone.
There may be enemy in present. They too will go.
There will be new enemies tomorrow and......they too will go.

If this too is going to pass, it is not yours.
The defeat was not yours, the victory is not yours.
You are just a watcher. Everything passes by…

You are just a witness of change. Experience it, understand it..!!

As much I believe in what you have to say about change, I do believe in the theory of change... Change in itself is short lived but the aftershocks keep haunting for a while, whether good or bad...

At the same time I too agree with the fact that everything passes by with time.. Time is the best medicine for all wounds..

Will surely add something on this later on and it was real fun reading your blog.. Keep rocking.. Cheers..!!

Well said. Did you realize the similarities that can be derived from your thoughts and the words from the Bhagavad Gita updesh? Not that I know much about it but I have seen it numerous times on posters in different shops.

No wonder change is charming!!

Everything will come and go...

it said by Lord Krishna in 2nd adhyay of Gita..."Contacts with objects bring joy or pain, heat or cold. These come & go. They are temporary. Therefore learn to bear with them, as they come, with perfect equanimity. One who achieves this, makes himself fit for eternal life."

If one of the Pandavas,Arjun cudnt change it...then it's unavoidable for us to get rid of this so called "Change" in life

I totally agree with your concept of change.
Change...I believe is a universal truth. Change comes with time and this can be seen in all God's creation...nature, plants, human beings.

According to me, change is a source enthusiasm, excitement, adventure and sometimes grief and sorrow, but then all is part of game i.e. life. As the saying goes "Man proposes, God disposes". God has set different criteria, different actions, different timings for each and every individual. When there is no hope, something good can come up and when everything is fine, something can happen and a person can be back to square one. This is possible only because of change. Just imagine if there had been no concept like change, then life would have been very different, rather unimaginable.

Change is inevitable whether we are talking about human life or universe, whether it is global financial crisis or global warming, natural calamities or terrorism. It is an unavoidable phenomenon of everyone’s life.
